One Silver Piece - [Action / Voice]
[Arthur jolted awake, shivering. His first thought was his sword, immediately reaching for it, only to find snow waiting for him. He soon realized he was half naked in the snow. Not good. It must have been an enchantment. His sister's doing, no doubt. All he had to his name was simple pants and a strange book. After yelling for Merlin for a bit, he gritted his teeth, tightened his jaw, and picked a direction. Fortunately a small abandoned outpost wasn't too far away. Inside he found some spare clothing, some food, and a map.
His first stop was the smithy. He had intended to request a weapon, hoping to find some loyalty to Camelot. But after discovering the recently claimed sword in the stone and no staff present, he simply took the weapon back. Far be it for him to deal with thieves. The shirt of chainmail was most likely his as well. He took that back in short order as well, pulling it back on. This was no doubt a town of thieves and sorcerers. They must have abandoned him in the snow, figuring he would freeze to death. Well, they thought wrong. He would be getting to the bottom of this.
And what better place to find bandits than a tavern? He had no gold on him, but he figured he would rectify that problem once he had found his attackers. So sitting down at the bar, he slapped the bar, and ordered a cold tankard of mead, while carefully surveying the occupants in the bar.]
[Voice] (after his time at the bar)
I am Arthur Pendragon, King of Camelot. If there are any other citizens of Camelot still loyal to me, speak up. There are important matters to discuss.
((ooc: so for the record, if you want to action it up, he can be found at Good Spirits or later, in the plaza during his voice message))

My father is no more, so I'm no longer the heir. I'm King of Camelot now.
[If she'll notice, he wears no common sword anymore. It is a far more ornate looking weapon.]

[Her eyes widen, somewhat surprised, and looks down toward his sword. If he was speaking the truth then -- yes. It was just as he said. While it did not look the same as her's, there was no mistaking the Sword of Promised Victory in any form. Excalibur.
...For a moment, she wondered if fate was mocking her again by having her cross paths with Arthur yet again. But, she pushed those thoughts aside and turned her gaze back to him.]
So I see. When we last met you were still Prince Arthur Pendragon. I offer my sincere congratulations to your succession of the throne. It is what your father would have wanted.

It is. But he could have ruled many more years, if things had been different.

[She doesn't know what happened to make him say those words, but she feels like she has to say this to him.]

Then do not grieve for the past king, though it may be hard, or for what has come to pass. Think of the future.

I'm King of Camelot, Saber. Even if there truly is no way out of here, I can't simply go house hunting until I am absolutely certain there is no way out of here. I owe that to my people.

She nods. Though she wants to call it pointless for the time being, she's positive that would not be enough to satisfy him.]
I understand. Do you think you will need assistance?

Then I will see you off. If you need help, do not feel the need to hesitate in requesting assistance.

Thank you. I'm going to wait to see if any of my knights answer and so I can gather supplies, but I intend to set out before too much of the day is gone.

Thank you. [A pause. An unsure pause. But fine. He can bend a little.] You as well, Sir Saber. [Yeah. Acknowledging the knight thing.]

I bid you adieu, for the time being.
[With that she'll step back and, nodding her head once more, begins moving further into the plaza.]
