Two Silver Pieces - [Action/Voice]
[A week ago, Arthur left on his horse to explore the outer edge of the barrier more thoroughly than he had before. He didn't leave with much warning, hoping he would simply find a way out. But it was a week out in the cold and not too comfortable, but he'd dealt with worse while traveling with his knights throughout the Five Kingdoms. Even so, he was quite happy to be able to return to his apartment for a much needed bath. Fortunately he didn't need a servant to have a hot bath warmed up for him. One advantage of Luceti science, it seemed. Though he considered it only a moment's rest. He would need to resume his efforts later.
Today Arthur can be seen in town again for the first time in awhile, leading his horse into the market area. He's collecting supplies again, being a little more thorough than previously. He'd had to raid the New Feather stations more than once the last week, so he wasn't keen on doing that again. As always, he's in his chainmail, but that's covered with an extra long coat on top, concealing it for the most part. He's really not that good with the whole 'staying put' thing. Not while Camelot is in peril. But there's some things he wants to know before he heads out again. So his best bet is the journal, unfortunately. Something he's more or less been ignoring the past week. Well. Here he goes again.]
First of all, I know I'll be told what I'm doing is absolutely useless, so I don't need a reminder of that. What I'd like to know is how thoroughly the barrier around the mountains and ocean have been explored. Say what you will, but I don't believe any fortress is perfect. I intend to explore the outer edges of the mountain soon, so any information would be greatly appreciated.
Failing that, I'll require a ship to sail around the edge of the barrier. Would any such vessel be available?

[voice]
The fountain. [Cough.] The fountain would be good. [Even Arthur in all his medieval-ness knows the implication of meeting a woman in a restaurant like that.]
[voice]
I will see you there, Sir Arthur.
[voice > action]
[Well, it's a good thing he washed up before hitting the journals. He's more or less fit to be seen in public, though he straps on the chainmail and tucks his blade into his belt. He can never be too careful. He'll reach the plaza soon enough.]
[action]
When she reaches the square, she keeps her eyes for someone who looks like a knight... and the chainmail is a bit of a giveaway. She smiles and calls to him.]
Sir Arthur, I presume?
[action]
I am. You must be Elizabeth, then.
[action]
Indeed I am. A pleasure to finally meet you here where a full acquaintance can be made.
[She does a small curtsey out of habit, hardly anything befitting someone before the king of England, but her knees bend slightly and her head nods for a brief display of respect. She is a lady, still, in some ways.]
[action]
Likewise. That's... unusual armor that you're wearing. [The armor itself being unusual.]
[action]
It is from the Orient. Singapore, specifically.
[Sailors are quite well travelled, king!]

[action] yay suprose
[action] yeeeeah, actually it was an accident
[action] we'll go with it.
Regardless of that, she was willing to help. After all, she was not without her own rash decisions.

She sounded so amused, so very amused.
"There is a fantastical surprise waiting for you in there. A way of transportation that requires no traversing of mountains and is the most brief travel you will ever experience."
She flashed him a grin over her shoulder.
"You've yet to learn of the transporters, Sir Arthur."
[action]
"No. I haven't. What are they?" His tone didn't hide the disapproval.
[action]
"An effortless step from one place to another. Rather fascinating thing the Malnosso gave us. The nervousness of utilising it goes with frequent walks through it, I suppose."
[action] actually! The teleporters were built by Leon.
Oooops. Yay for wrong assumptions?
yup!
